What is Whitechain?
Whitechain is an EVM-compatible layer 1 blockchain platform built on top of the go-ethereum (go-eth) protocol and integrated into the WhiteBIT ecosystem. Built on the most widely used smart contracts standard, Whitechain also introduces several technical innovations to meet developers' demands and address the blockchain trilemma. For developers working with Whitechain, a crucial technical detail to note is the platform's 2-second block time. This feature directly leads to faster transaction processing and quicker block generation. The immediate benefit for developers is the ability to build applications that provide quick transaction confirmations, improving the end-user experience.
