At a glance

Whitechain Mainnet keeps the chain ID of the legacy L1. The legacy L1 state became the Mainnet genesis, so balances, contracts, and addresses carried over. Block numbering continues from the legacy L1: the Mainnet genesis block is 50961390, one after the last legacy L1 block 50961389. See Migration to L2.

Endpoints

Legacy L1 endpoints, read-only

These serve the history of the legacy L1 (chain ID 1875) up to the snapshot block. They do not accept transactions. The legacy RPC answers with the same chain ID as the L2, 1875 (0x753), so do not add it to a wallet as a separate network. The public RPC allows 50 requests per second per IP with a burst of 500, and up to 100 calls per batch. The WebSocket endpoint serves newHeads and logs subscriptions; newPendingTransactions is not available. See Rate limits. To add the network to a wallet, see Connect to Whitechain. A wallet that already has chain ID 1875 needs no change.

Fees

Mainnet uses the same L2 fee parameters as Whitechain Sepolia: a 5 gwei minimum base fee, EIP-1559 elasticity 6 and denominator 100, a 40,000,000 block gas limit, and no operator fee. The L1 fee scalars differ: Mainnet starts at 1368 (base fee) and 801949 (blob base fee), while Sepolia runs 100000 and 1000000. Every transaction also pays an L1 data fee. Every OP Stack upgrade through Jovian is active from genesis. See Network fees.

Finality and withdrawals

A transaction is included in about one second, becomes safe once its batch is confirmed on Ethereum, within about 30 minutes, and is finalized about 13 minutes later. A new dispute game is created every 30 minutes. See Transaction finality. A withdrawal to Ethereum through the OP Stack canonical bridge takes at least 7 days. See OP Stack canonical bridge.

Getting WBT

There is no faucet on Mainnet. WhiteBIT users withdraw WBT directly to Whitechain from the exchange UI. See Getting WBT.
